About Us
Welcome to the wonderful world of
Zero to Grown Inc.
Started with a Commitment!
Built from Integrity!
Bright is our Future!
We are closing the gap between the youth in our community and the beautiful things this world has to offer. From Gardening and Arts and Crafts, to partnering with other community groups to provide more resources for our youth.
Like they say, It takes a village to raise our youth!
In 2022, Zero to Grown's impact reached over 700 members of the Bronx community!
Zero to Grown works with over a dozen school, community groups, and local officials.
Email us at ZeroToGrown@gmail.com to have our author/illustrator Kamaal Mabry do a book reading of Veggies from the Underground and/or PC Project activity with your school or organization.
Over 500 Slimes made in 2022!
The arts and crafts activities we conduct have been a hit since the first time we did it in 2019 at Book Con/Book Expo in the Javits Center!
Kids participated with their parents when ever possible to get out of this sticky situation! Also known as slime!
You can purchase all the Parent-Child Projects (PC Projects) to do at home, school, or organization! We send you all the materials and instructions necessary!
And the proceeds help us grow!
In 2022, our garden produced broccoli, cantelope, bell peppers, chili peppers, cherry tomatoes, Sun flowers, marigolds, and more!
Everyday is a day to encourage healthy living habits!
